PRE-REGISTRAION REQUIRED
Ready to take your skills and passion for acting to the next level? In this workshop, students will be introduced to Stanislavski technique, character and script analysis, emotional recall and character physicality exercises, group "playground" exercises, and exercises tailored to each student's individual needs depending on the character and material he or she is working with. Students will work with monologues or scenes from scripts, such as well known plays or Shakespeare, that have rich, well-developed characters. Throughout the workshop, students will discover how to truly embody a character by learning about specific technique, emotional honesty, and exploring the essence of play. This is an excellent opportunity for seriously dedicated actors to develop their skills and learn how to understand the inner workings of an actor's process.
