In Choro Novo Auditions:
In Choro Novo Spring auditions (for our Fall season) will be on May 7th, 6:30 PM in the Weston High School Choral Room (444 Wellesley Street, Weston, Massachusetts). If you are interested in auditioning, please contact our Vice President vicepresident@inchoronovo.com for audition details and to set-up an appointment. In your email, please share a little about your singing background/history as well as vocal part.
For your audition, please have a piece prepared of any genre (as we sing everything from Palestrina to Billy Joel) which may be sung accompanied or a cappella. You will also be asked to echo short phrases, check vocal range, and sing in 4 parts with other members of the group to check your blending ability.
