Akiko Kobayashi will present a violin recital, accompanied by Claudia Kobayashi (the violinist's mother) on the piano.
She will play a rarely-heard early Beethoven sonata from the Op. 12 series dedicated to Salieri, Prokofiev's fanciful set of "Five Melodies," an early work from his Paris years, and Chausson's rhapsodic Poeme.
The concert is in the Community Room, which is handicapped accessible. Seating is limited, so come early.
