Double-Workshop on Film Making and Editing for Teens

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Double workshop that takes students through hands-on script-writing and cinematic storytelling to shooting and finally focusing on learning the fundamentals of film editing using the industry series of Adobe® Premiere Pro and After Effects. Students will also learn to timeline marked and trimmed clips and add music, filters, transitions, titles and credits, as well as learn special effects with Adobe® After Effects® for outstanding results to take home on a DVD.

The workshop includes in-class presentations that cover and demonstrate techniques of the moving image, as well as screenings, film discussions and analysis of the student’s work. This workshop includes university-level material for ambitious and creative teens.
