Mitzvah Day at Or Atid, May 19th, 10am-1pm
All welcome, Volunteer opportunites for all ages. Be a part of this special day of Tikkun Olam as we join together to help make the world a better place. We'll have a variety of fun and meaningful, hands-on activities for everyone from tots, teens and adults to our respected elders. There will be nearly a dozen mitzvot activities including a car wash, Teddy Bear building brigade, Family Table deliveries, hat knitting for IDF soldiers, mitzvah project workshop, Family Promise training and Brotherhood's Sign-a-Stud for Habitat for Humanity. Teens can get High School community service credit for their volunteer hours! You can also stroll through our "Mitzvah Mall" and see a variety of innovative agencies who will have tables set up in our lobby with info about their services which you may find worthy of support or your student may find a Bar/Bat Mitzvah project with one of these outstanding groups. For more info and to register for a mitvah activity, just go to www.congregationoratid.org or call 508-358-9623.
