New England Revolution to Host Kevin Alston Bobblehead Giveaway on Leukemia Awareness Night

Fans arriving early to D.C. United game will receive miniature statue of Revs star currently undergoing treatment


WHO/WHAT:  New England Revolution defender Kevin Alston, currently undergoing treatment for chronic myelogenous leukemia, is the second of three Revs players to be featured on a team-produced bobblehead this season.


Alston’s bobblehead features his signature hair and goatee. The bobblehead is being presented in concert with the Revs’ Leukemia Awareness night, which will feature informational tables from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as well as a swabbing station for Be The Match Registry, a national marrow donor program.

A limited number of the Alston bobbleheads will be distributed at the entry gates at Gillette Stadium on June 8. Additionally, Alston will be available to sign fans’ bobbleheads for a $20 donation, which will be directed to LLS.
