Ninth Annual Classic Concert

The Weston High School Chorus, Concert Choir, Weston Community Chorus and In Choro Novo will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012.  The performance will be held at 8:00pm in the Regis College Fine Arts Center, 233 Wellesley Street in Weston.  The snow date is Thursday, February 9th.  As always, admission is free.

 

Under the direction of Dr. Therese Provenzano, the Weston High School Chorus, which consists of 165 mixed voice students in grades 9 through 12, will perform Gloria by Antonia Vivaldi.  Also performing will be New England Soloists Junko Watanabe, Soprano and Donna Ames, Mezzo-Soprano.

ATTENTION:  PARKING IS NO LONGER ALLOWED AT REGIS COLLEGE FOR THIS EVENT.

Instead, you will park at Weston High School (444Wellesley Street) and be chauffeured by a wonderfully HEATED yellow school bus from the front entrance of the high school directly to the front doors of the Regis College Fine Arts Center.  This COMPLIMENTARY shuttle service for you and your family will operate continuously between the hours of 7 – 9:45pm.

 

This eleventh annual classical concert is made possible by the generous funding of WEEFC, the Weston Educational Enrichment Fund Committee.  Additional sponsors include the Weston Boosters as well as the Massachusetts Cultural Arts Council.
