Coriolanus, a new period-instrument string quartet, will dazzle us with an all-Haydn program--mostly late works of this beloved master. The players are all stellar artists, early
music specialists who perform around the country in many groups: Susanna Ogata, Cynthia Freivogel, Karina Fox, and Guy Fishman. They will vanquish winter's cold with the warmth and conversational pleasure of Haydn: his grace, wit, and depth of feeling. The church offers beautiful acoustics and a refined, serene atmosphere. A convivial, candlelight reception follows, where one can chat with the artists. There is plenty of parking. Join us!
