Farmstand Opening Celebration June 4

Free, family-friendly celebration to welcome to the start of summer!

Land’s Sake, a nonprofit farm dedicated to connecting individuals to the land, will be holding its annual family-friendly Farmstand Opening Celebration from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, June 4. The Festival will be located on the farm at 90 Wellesley Street.

Held each year on the first day the Farmstand opens for the season, the Celebration features the first vegetables of the season and activities to usher in the new growing season. Attendees will enjoy live music, food tastings and baked goods, this year’s new selection of partner goods and foods, play areas and crafts for children, and the chance to visit with the farm rabbits and chickens.

New to the Celebration this year will be public farm walks to learn about the various programs and activities that Land’s Sake offers and what will be growing in the fields this year. Attendees of all ages can also participate in a volunteer activity by helping our farm team prepare the pick-your-own flower garden for the season.
