Join Nov. 13th Dinner & Discussion: Prepared People & Pets
What should you know about emergency sheltering for people and animals here in Weston? Come have something to eat and find out!

The Weston Emergency Reserve Corps and Board of Health invite you to come to the Weston Community Center for dinner and discussion on Thursday, November 13th. Featuring Liisa Jackson of Preparedness Specialty Services, the evening’s program will focus on how we all can be ready to shelter ourselves and our animals in case of an emergency. Do you know what you need to have for your family, including any pets, in case you are snowed-in without power for several days? When and where would Weston open shelters? Can they accommodate animals? Join us on November 13th to learn the answers to these questions and discuss options. Dinner will be available beginning at 5:30 and the program will run from 6-8pm. This event is free and open to the public (although no pets, please). RSVP to Sharon Bonica (bonica.s@westonmass.org or 781-786-5030).
