Why is our library shutting down for 10 days in December to install new carpet? Our present carpet looks fine to me. The public will not only be inconvenienced, but also exposed for months to the toxins emitted by most new carpet.
Here we go again spending money (how much?) on things we don't need, while continuing to neglect the interior of our Old Library and the Josiah Smith Tavern and Barn, among other things we do need to take care of.
