Massachusetts start-up EverPresent expands its team and services in Weston and surrounding towns
Susan Weiss joins company as head designer; Jane Simons offers new organizing sessions to help families digitize media collections

(August 25, 2014) Newton, Mass. — EverPresent, which helps families digitize media collections and share memories across generations, is expanding its operations in the Sudbury area after successfully piloting its consultant program in the town last fall.
EverPresent consultant Jane Simons, who works with families in Sudbury, as well as Acton, Concord, Lincoln, Wayland and Weston, will offer a new service for organizing and sharing large media collections. She will also teach a course on photo organizing and memory preservation this fall through the Lincoln Sudbury Adult Education program.
Susan Weiss, a Sudbury resident and experienced publishing professional, joins the company as head photo book designer, helping serve clients in her hometown, New England and nationwide.

“Jane has been extremely successful helping Sudbury families preserve their family’s memories, and we are thrilled to add Susan to our team,” EverPresent CEO Eric Niloff said. “Our company is known for digitizing old photos and videos, but our heart lies in helping families share their memories. As head designer, Susan brings endless talent and many years of design experience to her projects with the families we serve.”
A graduate of Tufts University and Simmons College and mother of two, Weiss spent 12 years in publishing and editing children’s books. Since joining EverPresent, she has already helped families recreate old history books, designed elegant wedding albums, brought to life old family scrapbooks and guided numerous families through choosing the right photos for birthday celebration and memorial service albums.

“I’ve long had a passion for telling stories through photos, and I get to do that with every unique project I work on at EverPresent,” Weiss said. “Creating keepsake photo books for families to enjoy is extremely rewarding, because I understand the value they will provide for years to come.”
In addition to its photo book program, EverPresent is also enhancing its services for clients with extensive family memorabilia. “Many families are overwhelmed by the seemingly endless amount of media they want to digitize and they simply don’t know where to start,” Simons said. “So we’ve created a dynamic, new four-hour in-home strategy session that helps clients prioritize and gives them a solid project plan and cost estimate. We also help clients organize their current, ever-growing digital photo libraries and, most importantly, we identify the stories they want to share, and work to make that happen.”
EverPresent, which aims to bring families closer through memory preservation, is committed to hiring local consultants immersed in their communities. The company takes an old-fashioned approach to its high-tech service, offering in-home consultations and dedicated one-on-one service.
“People have great options when it comes to preserving material wealth through local insurance agents, estate planners and investment advisors,” Niloff said. “But when it comes to preserving memories and stories, which are truly irreplaceable, that level of service has been nonexistent. EverPresent is changing that, and we are so honored to do such important work for families.”
Both Simons and Weiss are certified photo organizers, who have completed training with the National Association of Photo Organizers (www.appo.org). Jane Simons can be reached at jane@everpresentonline.com and Susan Weiss at susan@everpresentonline.com
