LEGO Mindstorm is for students to learn how to build and program robots varying degrees of difficulty. Students will download pre-programmed sequences to help them begin to see the possibilities of their robot and then challenge themselves, and each other, to modify the program, using their own ideas, to make the robot perform additional maneuvers. The heart of the system is the NXT brick, an autonomous LEGO microprocessor that can be programmed with/without-using computer.
Once the students have designed their own programs, they are able to download it to the NXT Intelligent Brick. The program is sent from their laptop to the NXT using a USB cable. The NXT then executes the code that it receives from their computer.
Developing programs with LEGO MINDSTORMS is intuitive and exciting. Students will work in teams.
Our five day program includes:
a) Robot building and programming
b) Sensors: Motor, Touch, Sound, Ultrasonic, Light, Color
c) Navigation of Robot
d) Creative building and programming
e) Advance programming to complete pre-assign task
