Missing Weston Teen Found Safe

Police said the autistic teen jumped out of a car at the intersection of Merriam Street and Concord Road.

WESTON, MA — Weston police were able to quickly find an autistic teen who went missing on Tuesday morning. After putting out an announcement to the community over social media, the department found the teen within an hour.

According to police, the 17-year-old jumped out of a car at the intersection of Merriam Street and Concord Road. Police believed he was hiding in the woods after he ran off.

In the social media announcement, the department emphasized that the teen was not dangerous and simply needed to be found so that he could get the services he needs as he was going through a traumatic time.
