Person Dead After Hit By Train on Newton-Weston Line
A person has died after being hit by a train Monday morning. The man had been trespassing on the tracks.

One person has died after being hit by a train Monday morning on the Newton-Weston line in Newton, reported NECN.
MBTA started Tweeting shortly after 9 a.m. that the Framingham/WorcesterLine Train 516 was stopped “due to a medical emergency.” The train was coming from Framingham into South Station. Anyone on train 516 was bussed from Wellesley Farms to Boston, making all stops.
The commuter rail experienced long delays. By 10:45 a.m., the MBTA reported that the line was running about 30-40 minutes behind.

A MBTA spokesperson confirmed to WCVB-TV that the victim was a man in his 50s who had been trespassing on the tracks.
