Six Questions for Weston Field Hockey Star Elizabeth Dennehy
Patch interviewed freshman Wildcat Elizabeth Dennehy after Tuesday's 9-1 victory over Newton South.

Patch: You currently have 16 goals and lead your team. Heading into the season, did you expect to have such a high-scoring season?
Dennehy: I train a lot, so I try really hard. But I didn’t really expect it because I’m only a freshman. If you work really hard, you can reach your goal, I guess.
Patch: How long have you been playing field hockey for?
Dennehy: Since seventh grade.
Patch: What type of conditioning do you undertake?
Dennehy: A lot of just working hard, like repeated practice makes perfect, I guess.
Patch: What does the future hold for you?
Dennehy: Hopefully, a lot more success. Hopefully more wins, and maybe a state championship.
Patch: I know you’re only a freshman, but any thoughts of playing field hockey in college?
Dennehy: I definitely want to play in college.
Patch: What have you learned from the upperclassmen?
Dennehy: They’ve taught me a lot, a lot of social stuff. And relationships have been built throughout my high school.
