Rash of Burglaries Plagues Weston Over Thanksgiving Weekend

Police said on Saturday four unoccupied houses were broken into in the area of Weston Golf Club.

WESTON, MA – A spate of break-ins hit one Weston neighborhood over Thanksgiving weekend, police said.

According to police, four unoccupied houses were burglarized between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Nov. 26. The burglaries occurred on Meadowbrook Road in the area of Weston Golf Club. Surrounding towns have also been experiencing break-ins, authorities said.

Weston detectives are investigating the cases and ask anyone who observed any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area during that time to contact the Detective Unit at 781-786-6207. Police advise residents to remain especially vigilant about locking doors and activating security systems during the holiday season, when many people are traveling.
