A routine traffic stop at Case's Corner resulted in the arrest of a Reading man early on Saturday evening.
According to Weston Police, Robert Ryan, 19, of 78 Charles St. in Reading was pulled over south of Case's Corner on Wellesley Street at 5:01 p.m. on Saturday for what was believed to be a routine traffic stop. At that point, police discovered Ryan to be in possession of a Class D substance (marijuana) and determined he had intent to distribute it.
After an investigation by responding officers, Ryan was arrested for possession of a Class D substance with intent to distibute and was placed into custody.

Because of the holiday weekend, Ryan was arraigned on Tuesday at Waltham District Court, police said.
