Regis College Children's Center Open House and 25th Birthday Celebration

RCCC is having an Open House on Wednesday November 5, 2014 from 5:30-7:30pm, and tours are available during weekdays upon request.

RCCC is a NAEYC accredited program for children 15 months – 5 years. A variety of schedule options are available, which include half and full day programs.

RCCC is a play-based program with an emergent approach to curriculum. All developmental areas are viewed as being equally important, and elements from these areas are woven into the entire day. A high value is placed upon the processes that children engage in during play that enable them to become lifelong learners.

The Regis College campus is part of our everyday learning environment. The children utilize campus facilities such as the swimming pool, gymnasium, fine arts center, dance studio, science labs, athletic fields, and nature trails. College faculty join the children throughout the week and offer enrichment activities such as foreign language, STEM programs, yoga, best health practices, and environmental science. Sessions with a music specialist are routinely incorporated. College students participate in our program as assistants, interns, student teachers, and special project leaders and enable us to provide a low student to teacher ratio.

Families are viewed as crucial in the process of developing young children. Each day families receive an electronic report of their child’s day including pictures and curriculum highlights, and we strive to build a positive relationship with families through consistent communication and family events.
