Retired Firefighter Dies in Weston Blaze

Ross Giamo, a retired volunteer firefighter in Weston, died early Friday after an electrical problem sparked a blaze at his home, authorities said.
WHDH/7News said he lived alone in a garage apartment on Wellesley Road. The fire broke out just after midnight.
Giamo's body was found near a door. He was 65 years old.
WBZ-TV's Steven Bognar reported an official said the fire was caused by a faulty extension cord.
