Rivers Homecoming 2016
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night lights come to Winter Street!

Next weekend, the lights on Waterman Field will shine down on not one, not two, but three Rivers athletic teams at Homecoming 2016. The varsity athletic events begin on Friday afternoon with the inaugural Homecoming match for the new girls’ volleyball team vs. Middlesex School at 4:00 p.m. in Benson Gymnasium. Cross-country fans can head over to nearby Elm Bank in Wellesley, where the boys take on BB&N School, Dexter School, and Thayer Academy at 4:30 p.m., followed by the girls at 5:00 p.m. against BB&N School, Southfield School, and Thayer Academy.
The action continues back on campus with the varsity field hockey team facing Brooks School at 6:00 p.m. under the lights on Waterman Field, followed by a bonfire for Upper School students in the parking lot by Nonesuch Field.
Saturday’s schedule is packed with both JV and varsity games. JV field hockey and boys’ and girls’ soccer all host Brooks School at 2:00 p.m. on Davis and Nonesuch Fields, followed by boys’ and girls’ varsity soccer at 4:00 p.m. against Brooks.
