Run a Race and Enjoy Irish Culture on Sunday

Paddy's Road Race, The Shillelagh Shuffle, supports the Athletes Unlimited program.

A day of road races and Irish culture will kick off at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 with the annual Paddy’s Road Race, The Shillelagh Shuffle.

There will be more than 2,000 participants in the three-mile New England Runner Pub Series grand finale at 11:30 a.m. 

There will also be a 1K Youth and All Abilities Race for youths ages 14 and under and athletes with disabilities. There will be free youth field races for children 1-12 and a kids' festival at Weston Newton Playground. The children’s events and races will start at 9 a.m.

You’ll also get to enjoy bagpipes, Irish step dancers, food, music, beverages, photo booth, a raffle and awards.

The event supports the Athletes Unlimited program, one of the largest community-based therapeutic recreation programs for people with disabilities in all of New England.
