About SoulMates
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s SoulMates is a peer support program that links breast cancer survivors with those who are facing the disease for the first time. SoulMates volunteers are trained to provide emotional support, practical coping tips, and more to those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Additionally, SoulMates volunteers offer the highly-unique perspective of understanding exactly what current patients are going through. The program is currently open to all breast cancer patients; volunteers of the program must be out of treatment for a minimum of one year to participate.
