Features: Sportsmanship: Our camp culture prizes sportsmanship, highlighted by our daily sportsperson awards and weekly CSS Cup. Skill Development: Ball control, possession, finishing, team tactical training, and multi-themed camps. Campers receive evaluations weekly, and parents receive daily photos and updates of training. Home Grown: We are run by established, credentialed local teachers and coaches. Many CSS campers are accepted into our CIT program and become coaches. Golden Ball Tavern Museum

Step inside history at the Golden Ball Tavern Museum—a remarkable home built in 1768 where the drama of the American Revolution once unfolded. Built by Isaac Jones, a prominent citizen who famously shifted from Loyalist to Patriot, the Tavern became an unlikely hub of intrigue. In 1774 it was the scene of a violent ransacking known as the ‘Weston Tea Party’. During the winter of 1775, it served as a base for British spies, playing a role in the events that led to the march on Lexington and Concord. These walls have witnessed divided loyalties, secret plans, and a nation on the brink of independence. The tavern, found at “the sign of the Golden Ball,” welcomed travelers from 1770 to 1793. For the 200 years, six generations of the Jones family carefully preserved the home and its stories—creating a rare, unbroken link to the past. Today, the Golden Ball Tavern Museum invites visitors to experience early American life up close. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the museum houses hundreds of original artifacts and offers engaging programs, lectures, and events that bring history vividly to life for all ages. Open year-round from February through December, the museum welcomes visitors every Thursday (10 a.m.–4 p.m.) and on the second Sunday of each month (1–4 p.m.). The museum has a special, week-long holiday event in December which is open to the public each day. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just curious about the past, there’s something here for everyone. Our largest fundraiser of the year - the Golden Ball Tavern Museum's Barn Sale - will celebrate its 59th year on September 26th, 2026. Join us from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You’ll find gorgeous items donated by local and wider community members—many who are moving, downsizing, or just clearing space. The Conant Road railroad crossing will be closed this weekend. MassDOT has informed the Town of Weston that necessary repair work will start at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4 through 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7. The road will be closed and there will be detours. Passage to and from Concord and Conant roads will be accessible on Viles Street. Town officials warn that the Founders' Day Parade will complicate matters."The Founders' Day Parade on Saturday will present additional, but temporary, road closings in accessing Boston Post Road, which will affect Conant Road, Concord Road and Church Street. These temporary closings will only be during the Parade and are expected to re-open to access Boston Post Road no later than 2 p.m.," according to the Town of Weston.

Hosta and Perennial Sale, Lyman Estate Greenhouse May 30 & 31 and June 6, 2026

On Sunday, May 31st at 8:30 AM, runners and walkers will gather at Prospect Hill Park (314 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA) for the Mission MetroWest Road Race, a challenging and scenic 5K fundraiser benefiting the Community Day Center of Waltham (CDCW), the only drop-in day shelter serving adults experiencing homelessness in the MetroWest region.
The certified course combines trail and road terrain entirely within the park, featuring steep hills, wooded paths, and sweeping views of the Boston skyline.
The race also serves as the culmination of “Mission MetroWest: A Mile a Day in May,” a month-long movement and fundraising challenge supporting the CDCW’s work.
This year’s event feels especially meaningful because former CDCW guest Judy — alongside her senior dog, Callie-Jane — will be waiting at the finish line. After unexpectedly losing her housing, Judy stayed in the CDCW’s Night Program while staff helped her secure a new apartment. Now stably housed, she has raised nearly $1,000 to give back to the very program that supported her during a difficult chapter in her life.
“When people run this race, they are directly supporting our guests,” said Executive Director Chloe-Rose Crouch. “Judy’s story is a reminder of why this work matters.”&nbsp;Register at the link below!
