WEATHER ALERT: Latest Snowfall Forecast

The third snowstorm of the past week is upon us.
We’re not expected to see the extreme snowfall totals of last week’s blizzard, but much of Massachusetts could get a foot of snow.

The National Weather Service is predicting 10-14 inches for all of Eastern and Central Massachusetts expect for parts of the South Shore and Cape Cod and the Islands, which will get lower amounts. (See the snowfall map for the specific numbers.)
The snow is expected to fall hardest on Monday morning with 1 to 2 inches per hour possible. Snow will dissipate in the afternoon and parts of the South Shore and Cape Cod and the Islands will see a wintry mix before it turns back to snow later in the day.

The snow should be over during Monday night. Snow removal will be a problem with wind chills below zero on Monday night.
