Weston family takes part in Franciscan Children's Annual Road Race
Over 450 people ran, walked and wheeled their way over the finish line at this exciting event in West Roxbury's Millennium Park.
Four-year-old Weston resident Christian Caruso, former patient of Franciscan Children’s, walked his way across the finish line with his parents during the Franciscan Children’s Annual Road Race on Saturday, July 16th. Christian was discharged from the hospital in October after an autoimmune response to a virus left him paralyzed and intubated for weeks and is now well on his way to recovery. He was joined at the road race by “Team Christian,” which was one of the largest teams on the course.
