Weston family walks for Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund

Several members of the Schlager family took part in the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai

Several members of the Schlager family took part in the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai on Sept. 27. Residents Allison Schlager and mom Beth walked to raise money for the SoulMates program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, which matches breast cancer patients with volunteer mentors who had a similar diagnosis at Dana-Farber. Cheering them on were Judie and Larry Schlager (Allison’s grandparents) of Chestnut Hill, Mass. Judie and Larry Schlager have made several generous gifts to help establish and grow SoulMates, to ensure that other patients can connect with someone who knows what they are going through.
