Weston High School's Saliah Serrette Featured in Weekly Athlete Profile
Girls' basketball captain: "Rebounding is basically what I do."
The captain of the Weston High School girls' basketball team, Saliah Serrette, has been featured in a MetroWest Subaru High School Sports weekly profile.
A guard/forward for the team, Serrette has played basketball at the varsity level since her freshman year and currently holds the rebound record for Weston High School.
"Rebounding is basically what I do," she said in the Subaru video clip.

Head coach Mark Madden agreed, calling her an "excellent rebounder."
"Last year at one game she had 27 rebounds," he said.

In the clip, Serrette says she used to play lacrosse and was a cheerleader, but ultimately stopped those pursuits, figuring "that I loved basketball so much that I should make it my main sport so I could become better"—a strategy that seems to have worked, says her coach.
"She's the captain as a junior. I think that speaks for itself," said Madden.
