Weston Local Andrew Ramsey Featured in Walnut Hill’s Production of Crimes of the Heart

Winner of the 1981 Pulitzer Prize and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award, Crimes of the Heart is a staple of the American stage. Set in rural Mississippi, the irreverent comedy of Crimes of the Heart tells the story of three eccentric sisters who reunite in the final hours of their grandfather’s life, each facing their own peculiar set of challenges and each with her own unique strength. Consistently hilarious in its truths, it is a story of homecoming, nostalgia, and facing life’s pain with humor, insight, and compassion.
Ramsey, a senior at Walnut Hill, recently played Phil in Almost, Maine at Weston Drama Workshop this past summer. The theater major also took part in three staged readings as a part of Weston Drama Workshop’s new “Fridays @ 3” program.
