Weston Mass Pike Crash Leaves Car Mangled In Woods
The driver was able to get out of the car but had to be rushed to Boston Trauma Center.
WESTON, MA — A car drove off of the Massachusetts Turnpike headed west on Friday morning and straight into the woods in Weston. The driver was rushed to Boston Trauma center to be treated for critical injuries.
The crash happened off of the westbound ramp from Route 128 on the turnpike. The car was found standing almost completely upright, wedged between trees and bushes. The front end of the car was completely destroyed.
The driver not only survived the crash but was able to get himself out of the mangled car, Weston police said. He was found sitting on the ground next to the wreckage with critical injuries.
