Weston PD Looking For Man Caught Lurking In Front Of Home

Police said the man didn't commit any crime but may be linked to a string of break-ins.

WESTON, MA — Weston police are looking for a man they say was caught by doorbell surveillance, trying to look inside of a home on the north side of town. Police said the man did not commit a crime, although they want to identify him to figure out if he's linked to a string of break-ins in town.

The man was caught on video on Sept. 30 looking into the windows of the home. Police said there was someone in the house at the time who was startled to see someone peering into the window and the man was surprised to see someone inside.

The man told the person in the home he was there to take pictures of the home and he thought it was for sale — police added that the man was not carrying camera equipment and made no effort to identify himself.
