Weston Police Join Wellesley PD In Clinical Support Program
The departments will share a mental health clinician.
WESTON, MA — The Weston Police Department is partnering with the Wellesley Police Department and Riverside Community Care to form the Law Enforcement Clinical Support program.
Through the partnership, both departments will share a mental health clinician from Riverside Community Care. The clinician will be able to help officers with mental health emergencies.
The clinician working with both departments is Kate O'Donnell and can be contacted through the Weston police. O'Donnell is a licensed, independent, clinical social worker who has worked with Riverside for six years. She is well versed in individual, group and family therapy.

O'Donnell will be able to provide on-site assessments. She holds a master's degree in social work from Salem State University.
