Weston Police Seek Identity of Man Who Allegedly Approached 10-Year-Old Boy

The man reportedly pulled up alongside the boy and got out of his car, prompting the child to run away.

WESTON, MA – The Weston Police Department is seeking the public's health in identifying a man they believe may have approached a young boy on Nov. 6.

According to police, at around 2:30 p.m. that afternoon, the man was driving what was described as a black Volkswagen Passat similar to the one pictured below. The driver allegedly turned around in a driveway on Brook Road near where the child was walking, sped up and pulled alongside of him and got out, police said.

He turned off his car and stepped out toward the boy through the driver's side door, and the boy screamed and ran away, according to police. The man then reportedly got back into his car and drove up Valley View Road.
