
Hinckley Allen is pleased to announce the promotion of Weston-based attorney Robert T. Ferguson, Jr. to partner, effective January 1, 2017. Bob practices in the Construction & Public Contracts group. Bob handles a broad range of matters encompassing all phases of construction, including contract negotiation, bid protests, mechanic’s lien claims, real-time project advice, alternative dispute resolution and litigation. Bob’s experience also includes insurance recovery, commercial/business disputes and property law cases.
Bob is a contributing writer and editor of West’s Massachusetts Practice Series volume on Construction Law and the USLaw Network, Inc.’s Massachusetts Construction Law Compendium. He played a significant role authoring the amicus brief for AGC Massachusetts in the landmark Coghlin v. Gilbane case involving Construction Manager-at-Risk under Chapter 149A. Bob graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and Villanova University School of Law.
