Weston Resident Running the Boston Marathon in Support of JDRF

Neil Wallack of Weston, MA will be running in the 120th Boston Marathon on April 18 in support of the New England Chapter of JDRF.

Neil Wallack of Weston, MA will be running in the 120th Boston Marathon on April 18 in support of the New England Chapter of JDRF, the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Over the past decade Wallack and his family have raised more than $340,000 for a cure!

"I run because a cure for T1D is even closer; and hard work, determination and our collective support is what will get us there, for our son Harris and for all the other children and adults who struggle with diabetes every day," stated Wallack.

The funds raised through the Boston Marathon will be directed by JDRF toward funding research to find a cure for T1D and its complications and to develop transformative treatments that enable people with T1D to live healthier, safer lives until that cure is found. In addition, the funds will support JDRF's local Outreach programs for individuals and families in eastern and center Massachusetts.
