Weston Residents Sound Off As Route 30 Project Hits A Roadblock: Report
Of 116 letters submitted on the $18.5 million plan, many call for a full stop over concerns about trees, safety and the project's impact.
WESTON, MA — Weston residents are making their feelings about the proposed Route 30 makeover crystal clear: They have plenty of questions, and many want the project scrapped, according to the Weston Observer.
Town officials received 116 letters by the Sept. 30 deadline after seeking public feedback. The $18.5 million, state-funded project would rebuild 3.7 miles of Route 30, reports the news outlet.
The Traffic and Sidewalk Committee, Department of Public Works and Select Board are reviewing the feedback as they consider what comes next.
