Weston School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Early Release Days
Here's a look at the must-know dates for the upcoming semester.
WESTON, MA – Record scratch, school can't be right around the corner, can it? It's still a ways away, but these things have a knack for sneaking up on you during the dog days of summer. The first day of school for grades 1-12 is Sept. 5.
The 2017-18 school calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.
Here's a list of dates to know for the fall semester:

- Aug. 30, 31: Teacher in-service workshop
- Sept. 5: First day of school 1-12
- Sept. 11: First day of school K
- Sept. 21: No school, administrative offices open
- Oct. 4: Early dismissal, elementary and secondary schools
- Oct. 9: No school
- Oct. 18: No kindergarten
- Oct. 25: Elementary early dismissal - P-T conferences
- Nov. 1: Early dismissal, all schools
- Nov. 22: Early dismissal, all schools
- Nov. 23-27: No school, Thanksgiving recess and teacher in-service workshops
- Dec. 6: Early dismissal, all schools
- Dec. 25-Jan. 1: Winter recess
