Weston Students Ask If Dancers And Skaters Should Get A Pass On PE: Report

The Student Advisory Committee wants the school to rethink its gym exemption policy for students who spend hours training outside school.

WESTON — Does PE still make sense when you’re already dancing, skating, or swimming for hours a day? Weston students want the school to consider that question, reports TownBrief Weston.

Students say dancers, figure skaters and others with demanding physical activities outside school can train just as hard as varsity athletes — yet still have to take PE.
