Weston Students Excel in Russian School of Mathematics Competition

The Russian School of Mathematics celebrates the achievements of 11 of its Weston students who posted remarkable scores on national and international math competitions.

These students are among more than 900 RSM students across the country who excelled in math competitions this past year. Approximately 83 percent of Massachusetts Math Kangaroo winners were RSM students. Seventy-five percent of RSM students who took the AMC8 scored in the top 25 percent score bracket, while more than 30 percent placed in the top 5 percent bracket.

The 8th grade average on the Johns Hopkins CTY (the math portion of the SAT) was 678.
