Weston Woman Arrested on Warrant in Arlington Center

A 41-year-old Weston woman was taken into protective custody by police at about 11:30 p.m. Friday after she was found apparently intoxicated in Arlington Center, according to police.

Police first attempted to contact someone to take car of her but were unsuccessful in doing so.

Once in protective custody, police discovered that the woman, Sonya L. Murali, of Newton Street, Weston, had a warrant out for her arrest and subsequently arrested her. Murali’s warrant was out of Cambridge District Court for trespassing, police said.
