Weston's 2016 Winter Survival Guide: Everything You Need to Know

WESTON, MA — As we enter the winter months, the weather becomes a bigger factor in our lives. Between snow, sleet, wintry mixes and freezing temperatures, it's more important than ever to make sure your family is safe in the event of an emergency. Here is some important information you should know about winter in Weston.

Parking

Interference with the town's snow removal process is prohibited; the owner of any vehicle interfering will be liable for the additional costs incurred by the DPW.

Snow Removal

According to the Town of Weston website:

No person, other than an employee or other person in the service of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the Town of Weston shall direct, discharge, dump, shovel, pile, push, blow, plow or deposit snow, ice, or water under conditions where water would be subject to freezing onto, into or across any public way, including sidewalks or public property, or cause, direct, sanction or authorize any such activity involving snow, ice, or water on a public way or public property.
