WESTON, MA — Weston's Lamson Park is opened again after it was temporarily closed for renovations. A few new pieces were added to the park along with general maintenance and upkeep.

The playground now features new, upgraded rope climbing pieces on the Parkour equipment in the center of the playground as well as erosion control efforts in place behind the 2-5 year old section.

A new home for Miss Rumphiss Third Wish - the sculpture created by Phyllis Biegun that previously greeted people at Tavernside Playground, was also added.

Temporary orange fencing is still in place around the hillside to prevent erosion. Seeding was laid down but still has to settle into the ground. The town is asking residents to keep away from that area until the fencing is removed.
