Weston's Regis College Hosts Blood Drive
The Red Cross is taking special precautions to keep donors and staff safe and limit the potential spread of the coronavirus.
WESTON, MA — Weston is reminding residents that blood drives are still happening, in spite of the coronavirus pandemic and American Red Cross staff and volunteers are ensuring the process is safe. The next blood drive in Weston will be held at Regis College.
The blood drive will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 19 and 20. To be a donor, you must make an appointment, walk-ins will not be allowed to donate. Healthy residents are eligible and strongly urged to donate blood.
The Red Cross is taking special precautions to keep donors and staff safe and limit the potential spread of the coronavirus. The precautions include taking staff and donors’ temperature, asking more extensive screening questions, maintaining physical distance and sanitizing between donations.
