• Sen. Rodrigues to be honored by Mass. Housing and Shelter Alliance (southcoasttoday.com) — Westport’s own state senator Michael Rodrigues will be honored June 11 with a major public service award from the Massachusetts Housing & Shelter Alliance for his work on housing and homelessness. The Boston event will also recognize philanthropist Paul English and advocate Delphia Bizzell, highlighting statewide efforts to shift from shelters to permanent housing solutions. 
• Baseball Recap: Mashpee's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games (maxpreps.com) — Mashpee’s baseball team recently topped Westport 5–1 during a four-game winning streak that just ended with a 2–0 postseason loss to Wahconah Regional. The recap highlights how Mashpee’s offense had been rolling since that Westport win, and notes that Mashpee’s season is now paused with no further games scheduled, while Wahconah continues its playoff run.
