Alden and Harlow to Host Southern Hip Hop Brunch: June 18, 2016

Hip hop enthusiast, Chef Michael Scelfo, will host his signature Hip Hop Brunch service at Alden & Harlow on Saturday, June 18 from 10:30am-2:30pm, this time with a southern theme. While DJ Ryan Brown spins hip hop on vinyl, Chef Scelfo and team will whip up southern-inspired brunch dishes like Hot Sauce Fried Chicken with Clothbound Cheddar Waffle, Maple Butter & Syrup; Benton’s Bacon Fat Biscuits with Country-Style Pig’s Head Gravy and Crispy Ears; and Butter Braised King Crab with Smoked Grits, Roasted Tomato and Hot Peppers. Paired with Bar Manager Seth Freidus’ seasonal cocktails, there’s no better way to transport yourself out of Boston and into the south for a couple hours.
