Back-to-School Information: Supplies
BPS schools let you know everything your student may need to be well-equipped for a strong school year.

A fresh school year means fresh school supplies.
Before your child heads to the bus stop on Thursday morning, be sure to get out there and grab a new collection of pencils, folders, scissors, and whatever else they may need!
Some Boston Public Schools websites provide information on exactly what your students will need. The and Schools have not yet published their information, but the and Schools have. You can check out what students from those two schools, who work together to form a K-8 program, will need here.

And if you have a student at the Kilmer or the Lyndon, you can probably assume their list will be pretty similar. However, if you want to be safe, keep checking their BPS sites (Kilmer here and Lyndon here) to see if they eventually provide that information. Also, teachers often send home lists detailing exactly what students will need for the year. So one way or another (and maybe multiple ways), you'll know exactly what they need. In any case, pencils, erasors, a pencil sharpener, some folders, hand sanitizer, tissues, and a backpack are a safe bet for a solid core of supplies, and maybe some crayons for the younger kids, too.
