Boston Man Charged in Triple Stabbing Held on $100,000 Bail

Rock Aurelian allegedly stabbed three kids in Hyde Park on Saturday.

A Hyde Park man accused of stabbing three children on Saturday was arraigned and held on $100,000 bail, announced Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley on Monday.

Rock Aurelian was arraigned on charges of three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed assault with intent to murder in connection to the stabbings.

At the request of Assistant District Attorney Amy Martin, Aurelian will be fitted with a GPS monitor in the event he posts bail. He is also forbidden from contacting the children and their family.

Aurelian allegedly stabbed a 15-year-old female, an 11-year-old male, and a 9-year-old male at an apartment in the River Street area, police say.

Police later learned Auerelian was a friend of the family and knew the children from previous engagements.

Arresting officers say Aurelian baited them in an attempt to get fired upon before surrendering. They also say he made post-Miranda statements, “I did it...I planned this all along. I wanted you to kill me.”

All three children are expected to successfully recover.
