PATH Graduates Class of 2011

Parkway Academy of Technology and Health Grads Celebrate

The Parkway Academy of Technology and Health, one of four high schools at the West Roxbury Education Complex held graduation on Tuesday evening at the Media Arts Center at Roxbury Community  College.  Welcoming all was headmaster Jeffrey Liberty.  The valedictory address was presented by Simona Babasikas and the salutatory by Jholaine Simonds.  Also addressing the grads was class president Chantelle Ramirez.  Two invited speakers for the happy occasion were Claudio Martinez, Executive Director of the Hyde Square Task Force and Dr. Carroll W. Blake, an official with the Boston Public Schools.  Diplomas were presented to 54 graduates.

While the graduates are moving on with their lives, headmaster Jeffrey Liberty will be moving on to become headmaster of the new Green Harbor School at the South Boston Education Complex in September.  For the PATH School, graduation was the final one as the school will merge into the Urban Science Academy at the West Roxbury Education Complex in the fall.
