Roslindale is a diverse and thriving neighborhood in Boston that is home to 32,500 people. Roslindale Green & Clean has chosen gardens within our community that exhibit theirown exciting diversity. Each of these gardens is impressive; all are full of surprises that show what creativity can achieve in a small space, or larger urban landscape. Gardens were chosen to demonstrate how different environments can be successfully and artistically designed for optimum pleasure or food production. Urban living is a joy and a challenge. Come see how our amazing gardens met that challenge.
Roslindale Green & Clean (RGC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and maintaining a clean and healthy Roslindale through advocacy, outreach, public green space improvements, and the preservation and expansion of Roslindale’s tree canopy.
In recent years, RGC has partnered with the City of Boston and local
organizations to design and install award-winning plantings at the Roslindale
Public Library, Belgrade traffic islands, Taft Hill Terrace, Savage Mini Park on Birch Street, and Alexander the Great Park. RGC has also initiated a program to plant free trees throughout Roslindale.
