Cafe ArtScience Hosts Rose All Day Pairing Dinner

Following a Successful James Beard Foundation Dinner, Cambridge Restaurant Offers a Taste of Spring

WHO:

Fresh from a positive first experience at the James Beard House, Café ArtScience Chef, Patrick Campbell and Pastry Chef, Renae Connolly, will recreate the New York City dining experience in his Kendall Square kitchen, offering six courses of seasonal French fare with preserves and pickles from the spring and summer months. Bar Director Todd Maul and General Manager/Wine Director, Tom Mastricola, will offer rosé pairings with each course, each complex enough to stand up to the evening’s winter fare.

Guests are invited for a taste of warmer weather at Café ArtScience through six sweet and savory courses reflective of the restaurant’s modern French and New American menu, each incorporating preserved and pickled spring and summer produce. Savory dishes will be followed by pre-dessert and dessert courses from Pastry Chef, Renae Connolly. The evening will begin with Bar Director Todd Maul’s Koi Pond cocktail, a gin-based drink with housemade rosé paint, rosé essence, vermouth, and cocchi Americano. General Manager and Wine Director, Tom Mastricola will offer thoughtfully curated rosé wine pairings with each of Chefs Campbell and Connolly’s courses.

· Marinated Spanish Mackerel, Last Year’s Pickles, Lardo, Espelette Aioli

· Terrine of Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Summer Fruit, Périgueux Truffle, Caramelized Hazelnuts

· Handmade Lemon Corzetti, Shellfish, Green Tomatoes, Bottarga Breadcrumbs

· Assiette of Colorado Lamb, Pistachio & Pea Tendril Pesto, Saffron Cous Cous, Dry Fruit

· Elderflower Cloud, Cucumber Pearls, Rose-Frosted Almonds, Pluot Syrup

· Vanilla Beignet, Wild Maine Blueberry Jam, Brown Butter Streusel, Lemon Sabayon
